This is a spectacular Marquise-shaped faceted smoky quartz cabochon from Brazil, measuring approximately 1 1/4 inches x 3/4 inch, with a substantial height of approximately 1/2 inch.

This piece has been beautifully faceted, and what makes it particularly special is that the faceting has been cut directly through the natural inclusions within the smoky quartz. Rather than hiding the internal character of the stone, the faceting works with it, creating incredible depth and dimension.

As you move the stone in the light, you'll see a stunning rainbow and beautiful foil-like flash along the side. The combination of smoky translucent color, natural inclusions, and precisely placed facets creates an incredible play of light that changes from different angles.

The Marquise shape and substantial size give this cabochon wonderful presence. At approximately 1 1/4 inches long and 1/2 inch thick, this would make an exceptional statement piece in jewelry, particularly as a dramatic pendant or focal stone. It is large enough to really command attention while still having an elegant, wearable shape.

For collectors, this is an especially appealing piece because of the way the natural inclusions have been incorporated into the faceting, rather than simply polished away. Every angle reveals something different.

A beautiful and unusual example of Brazilian smoky quartz, perfect for a collector, jewelry designer, or anyone looking for a truly distinctive focal stone.
