Natural Black Rutile and Snow White Lodalite Quartz Crystal Point from Diamantina, Brazil

This is one of those crystals that becomes more fascinating the longer you look at it.

From Diamantina, Brazil, this exceptional natural Quartz point measures approximately 5¼ inches in length and displays an extraordinary combination of inclusions and natural growth features. The crystal contains striking black Rutile inclusions, beautiful Snow White Lodalite, and small internal crystals known as penetrator or manifestation crystals — creating the remarkable appearance of crystals growing within the larger host crystal.

The natural formation continues across the surface with beautiful etching and Lemurian lines, giving the crystal an incredible amount of texture and visual interest. The Lodalite creates a soft, almost snowy landscape within and across portions of the Quartz, while the black Rutile provides dramatic contrast.

One of the most fascinating features is the presence of the small internal penetrator crystals. These are naturally occurring secondary crystals that formed within the host crystal during its growth. Collectors also commonly refer to fully enclosed examples as manifestation crystals.

And this specimen is completely natural — no polishing, carving, or enhancement has been done to create these features.

Both ends of the crystal retain their natural terminations. One end is a single termination, while the opposite end displays a twin termination, adding another wonderful collector-quality feature to an already unusual specimen.
