Collected from the Serra do Espinhaço Mountains near Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil, this genuine Lightning Strike Quartz preserves the unmistakable evidence of a lightning strike while retaining an elegant cluster of natural terminations. Formed in one of Brazil's most celebrated quartz-producing regions, these specimens are prized for documenting one of the rarest geological events found in quartz.

The lightning scar is bold and beautifully defined, yet remarkably, the crystal's multiple natural points survived the event. Rather than shattering the terminations, the strike accentuates the crystal's character, creating a fascinating contrast between the raw force of nature and the delicate precision of its original growth.

One of the most captivating features is the small manifestation crystal emerging near the upper portion of the specimen, adding depth and complexity to an already extraordinary piece. Several of the natural terminations display beautifully developed record keeper triangles, while attractive natural etching covers portions of the crystal's faces, recording the mineral's long and dynamic geological history.

Although this specimen does not display internal rainbows, it more than makes up for it with its exceptional combination of preserved multiple points, record keepers, manifestation growth, natural etching, and an outstanding lightning strike.
