This one-of-a-kind Hubei Turquoise mala bracelet is a beautiful collection of different Hubei Turquoise patterns, colors and natural matrix, all brought together in one striking bracelet.

Made with approximately 7 mm Hubei Turquoise beads, MALA27 has an especially interesting mix of material. Some beads display dramatic spiderweb-style matrix, while others have beautifully contrasting brown, gray and dark natural matrix. Scattered throughout are beads of brilliant turquoise blue, aqua and blue-green, giving the bracelet wonderful color and movement.

What makes this bracelet particularly special is the variety within the strand. Rather than having every bead cut from the same type of material, this bracelet showcases several different natural looks found in Hubei Turquoise. Some beads are bold and heavily patterned, while others are cleaner and more intensely blue.

The result is an earthy, colorful bracelet with a lot of visual personality.

I personally hand-selected this bracelet at the Denver Gem Show, choosing it because of the beautiful combination of turquoise colors and the fascinating variety of natural matrix throughout the beads.

This is a one-of-a-kind bracelet, so the exact combination of beads cannot be duplicated.

Hubei Turquoise, from Hubei Province in China, is prized for its range of natural blue, aqua, blue-green and green colors and for the distinctive matrix patterns that occur within the material.

Some Hubei Turquoise displays dramatic spiderweb matrix, while other material can have more irregular or contrasting matrix patterns. MALA27 celebrates that diversity rather than trying to make every bead look identical.

For a turquoise collector, this makes the bracelet particularly fun—you get to see several different expressions of Hubei Turquoise in a single piece.
