MALA30 is a one-of-a-kind Hubei Turquoise mala bracelet, hand-selected at the Denver Gem Show and made with substantial 10–10.5mm beads.

What immediately sets this bracelet apart is the richness of the color. The turquoise ranges from deep, saturated blue and brilliant aqua to beautiful blue-green and green tones. Throughout the bracelet you'll find an incredible variety of natural-looking matrix patterns — delicate spiderwebbing, bold brown and dark matrix, intricate marbling, and dramatic patches that make individual beads look almost like tiny works of art.

This is the bracelet for someone who doesn't want perfectly uniform turquoise.

Every bead has its own personality.

Some beads are intensely blue with just a touch of matrix. Others are almost completely transformed by the beautiful brown and dark patterning. There are also beads with intricate web-like lines that draw you in the longer you look at them.

And because these are 10–10.5mm beads, the bracelet has a wonderful substantial presence on the wrist. It feels like a serious piece of turquoise rather than a delicate accent bracelet.

I especially love the way the richer blue beads are balanced by the earthy matrix. That contrast gives MALA30 a collected, natural, almost ancient feeling — while the polished finish keeps it elegant enough to wear every day.
