Rare-Newly discovered material, Gold Rush Quartz from the Gold mines of Para, Brazil. This newly discovered, Gold Rush Quartz Crystal gets its red coloring from an outer coating of Copper. The different shades of red/pink are determined by the amount of saturation of Copper on the surface of the Quartz. This unique form of Quartz crystal is highly mineralized with some having deposits of pyrite, copper, and iron oxide to name a few.
