Charoite is named for the Chara River area in Russa from which this vibrant stone is mined. These AA grade Charoite pendants average 14 to 16 x 12mm. Each is unique in its melding of purple ,violet , brown and  white hues. Set in a silver bezel, the shapes vary ever so slightly from square to what is called "purse" shaped. The bail and bezel have a touch of rhodium added to the silver to help lessen the tarnishing process. Charoite promotes restful energy and helps to calm the spirit.
